Dan Law to speak about Low Voltage systems

March 21, 2022 (Owosso, MI) – Join Connections2Careers at the Armory’s Executive Board Room on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 4 – 6 p.m. for a family-friendly career awareness session about installing Low Voltage systems led by Owosso Councilman Dan Law!

A low voltage installer works with certain types of electrical systems below the threshold of danger to people. These include home automation and security, and home entertainment such as internet, Wi-Fi, and cable television. This event will give you an introduction to what it’s like to be a low voltage installer/contractor.

Connections2Careers will also be leading a hands-on demonstration of residential low voltage systems using the ArchiTech Electronic Smart House kit. If we have time, we can break into groups and try some of the different circuitry projects included in the kit! (Recommended for ages 8+)

A $5 registration fee is required for this event. Register in advance at https://pheedloop.com/careerlowvoltage/site/home/.
